Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Minister of Finance, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Shide, today met with Mr. Ethiopis Tafara, Regional Vice President for Africa at the International Finance Corporation, to discuss strengthening collaboration.

The Minister highlighted the strong reform momentum to reshape the economy for private sector-led growth, creating new opportunities for investment and partnership.

Discussions focused on priority sectors including agribusiness and agro-processing, manufacturing and industrial parks, housing, financial inclusion, digital, and energy.

On his part, the Vice president reaffirmed IFC's commitment to supporting Ethiopia's reform agenda and expressed interest in scaling up the IFC investment and advisory portfolio across key sectors
