H.E. Ato Ahmed Shide, Minister of Finance, and H.E. Mr. Stephan Auer, German Ambassador to Ethiopia held a discussion on ways to strengthen the economic relationship between the two countries. The Minister indicated that Ethiopia is one of the most attractive investment destinations in Africa and encouraged businesses from Germany to continue investing in the country.

During the discussion, the Minister appreciated the long-standing partnership between the two countries and the development support provided to Ethiopia since 1957.

Ato Ahmed also gave briefings about the ongoing humanitarian assistance and reconstruction efforts in Tigray regional state.
