The Cooperation between Ethiopia and UNDP started in 1975. UNDP’s technical and financial support to Ethiopia focuses on a successful transition to democratic governance, addressing drivers of conflict to consolidate and build peace, foster enabling conditions for expanded job creation by the private sector especially Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), and accelerating the transition to a green economy resilient to climate change.
