Responsibilities of Public Finance Management Reform Directorate

• Enabling the public finance to be administered with a comprehensive legal frame work, (Proclamations, regulations and guidelines) both at federal and Regional level,
•  Making the budgetary system transparent and efficient, which is based on annual and short term resource allocation,  and integrate all expenditure financial administration,
• Making the accounting system up to date and efficient; that incorporates every public resources and debt,
• Installing modern cash payment system that allows to utilize and protect public cash and physical asset properly,
• Establishing internal auditing system at Federal and Regional Public bodies that enables to properly utilize and control public resources
• Introducing a system of information flow assisted by computer networking in order to administer the public finance and control with modern information technology system
