Ethiopia’s High-Level Delegation, led by the Finance Minister HE Ahmed Shide, meets with the World Bank Group’s Managing Director for Operations during the 2025 World Bank-IMF Spring Meetings

HE Minister Ahmed Shide had a productive discussion with the CEO for the Saudi Fund for Development (ADD) H.E. Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad. 

Ethiopia’s high level delegation led by HE Ahmed Shide held fruitful discussions with Acting VP for Eastern and Southern Africa, Amit Dar at the IMF and World Bank 2025 Spring Meetings.

April 14, 2025 – A high-level meeting was held between H.E. Semereta Sewasew, State Minister of Finance of Ethiopia, and Dr. David Laborde, Director of Agrifood Economics at the FAO, to reinforce cooperation on transforming Ethiopia’s agri-food systems.

April 3, 2025 —Ethiopia and the European Union (EU) signed 240 million Euro (approximately 32.3 billion birr) grant agreement under the 2024 Annual Action Programme (AAP-2024) at Ministry of Finance.
