The Operation Manager acknowledged GoE’s reform agenda, and conveyed its message on the fund optimistic view over the country economic growth despite all current challenges in the country. The manager also discussed on the partnership framework agreement of the fund and current status of the projects. Furthermore the manager discussed on private sector support, debt issues, future operations and upcoming Doha Ministerial meetings.

 

H.E. State Minister Semereta recognized the close working relationship between the Government of Ethiopia and OFID for the past years and requested the fund to scale up its funding and explore new approaches for resource mobilization. The fund is supporting six on-going projects on infrastructure projects.
