June 25, 2024 - The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Italy signed 4.7 million € (equivalent to 291 million Birr) grant agreement at Ministry of Finance.

The implementing agreement entitled “Strengthening of the SGBV (Sexual Gender Based Violence) and MHPSS (Mental Health Psychosocial Support) services in Ethiopia” aims to strengthen the local system in the provision and expansion of quality, equitable and accessible gender-based violence and mental health psychosocial support services in conflict-affected three regions and in Addis Ababa.

The Agreement was signed by H.E. Semereta Sewasew, State Minister of MoF and H.E. Agostino Palese Italian Ambassador to Ethiopia.
