August 2, 2023 - The Ministry of Finance and the African Development Fund signed a Grant Agreement amounting to a total of 84.3 million US dollars (approximately 4.5 billion ETB)
H.E. Ato Ahmed Shide, Finance Minister of Ethiopia, later today received the World Bank Group President, Mr. Ajay Banga who pays an official visit to Ethiopia, his first stop in Africa since he officially took office on June 2, 2023.
The Ministry of Finance and the World Bank virtually signed a Financing Agreement amounting to a total of US$ 400 million (approximately ETB 21.8 Billion) of which US$ 350 Million is in the form of grant and USD 50 Million in the form of credit.
July 14, 2023 - The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Federal Republic of Germany signed 25 million Euros(approximately 1.5 billion Birr) Grant Agreement at a ceremony held in Ministry of Finance.
