On October 27, 2021, H.E. Ato Ahmed Shide has participated in the Horn of Africa Initiative Ministerial Roundtable meeting which was held to review progress and discuss how the Initiative can further strengthen economic integration and regional cooperation.

The Government of Ethiopia signed a Joint Development Agreement to with OCP Group, a Moroccan State-Owned phosphate rock miner, phosphoric acid manufacturer and phosphate fertilizer producer to implement a fertilizer project in Dire Dawa.
Cyber Security Training session was held for Ministry of Finance (MOF) employees. The training was held in collaboration with Information Network Security Agency (INSA) & HUAWEI. The training covered topics such as layers of offensive testing, defensive architecture and monitoring, incident response as well as cloud security.
